Terms of Service
SYNC COMPUTER REPAIR TERMS & CONDITIONS
ESTIMATES: We will notify you with all of your options before performing any work or incurring any charges. Our normal billable rate is $100/hr. (Level 1), $125.hr. (Level 2), and $150/hr.(Level 3). ALL PRICES QUOTED ARE ESTIMATES ONLY. Final invoice may also include shipping and taxes added.
REPAIR & WARRANTY TERMS:
- New or Factory Refurbished Products: 1 Year parts & labor from date of purchase or installation unless otherwise stated on invoice/proposal.
- Used or Pre-owned Products: 1 year parts and labor from date of purchase or Installation.
- Recertified Apple Products: 1 year parts and labor from date of purchase or installation unless otherwise stated on Invoice.
- In-Shop Hardware Repairs: 1 year from customer pickup date
- Lifetime Warranty for parts and workmanship on all iPhone, Android, and Tablet screen repairs
What Is Covered: Warrantied items that fail within the above stated time will be either repaired or replaced with a comparable product. Sync Computer Repair reserves the right to choose to repair or replace the item covered.
What Is NOT Covered: Abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues, hardware failure due to power surges/lightning strikes/acts of God/acts of nature, hardware failure due to excessive dust or harsh environmental conditions, fire, flood, theft or vandalism, and service/attempted service by anyone other than authorized representatives or employees of Sync Computer Repair.
Any and all software issues no matter the cause including virus/malware infection, operating system corruption, loss of software keys, activation codes etc. Warranty labor directly related to hardware failure shall be for basic 0/S installation plus user file restoration from customer provided backup or from backup made during our service procedures. Under no circumstances are we to be financially, or otherwise responsible for data loss. We will make every reasonable effort to maintain client data during our servicing procedures, however we will not be financially, or otherwise liable for data loss for any reason whatsoever. Customer is 100% responsible for creating and maintaining a valid backup. Customer is responsible for keeping all factory recovery cd's and or materials necessary to perform a factory restore.
We reserve the right to periodically adjust system or workstation settings or to install upgraded hardware/software at our expense to resolve a specific issue covered under warranty or agreement. This option is exercised solely at our discretion for clients in good standing. Hardware/software installed becomes property of the client, and hardware/software removed becomes property of Sync Computer Repair.
BUSINESS HOURS: Normal Business hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. Legal holidays are excluded. If service is required after normal business hours client agrees to pay 1.5x the established rate for the work being performed. This does not apply to 24/7 contracts.
PRIVACY: Sync Computer Repair will not examine, copy, or distribute client's data in any way other than what is necessary during normal repair or service procedures. In case of data transfer or data recovery we may at our discretion keep a password protected backup copy on our system for 30 days to make sure everything was correctly transferred to back to customer. After 30 days all data from customer's recovery or transfer job will be permanently erased from our storage servers.
PAYMENT FOR ITEMS AND SERVICES: Client agrees to pay all billable invoices upon receipt. Failure to do so may result in suspension of service until all amounts due are paid. Minimum Deposits of 50% are required on all hardware and parts, as well any estimate that exceeds $200.00. We reserve the right to require a deposit or up-front payment for any and all parts, systems, and/or labor.
RETURN POLICY: As most of our systems are customized to your personal solutions, all sales are final and all charges are non-refundable. Returns are handled on a case by case basis and are given solely at Sync Computer Repair's discretion via store credit only. Any item left for more than 60 days will be sold or disposed of. We shall not be responsible for any items abandoned at our premises for more than 60 days. Any items left in the store tor more than 30 days are subject to a $1.50 a day storage fee, and must be paid before merchandise is retrieved. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
BY DOING BUSINESS WITH US YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. COPIES OF THIS DOCUMENT ARE POSTED INSIDE THE STORE.
